Outdoor space

Wow, it's been a while since I posted anything here.  You can all rest assured that I've been busy and not just holed up in my little crazy lady cottage library.  The winter was good to me with lots of travel and lots of work.  And after nearly 4 months of constant travel (Feb - early May), I've been relaxing and learning what my life in Oregon really looks like.

Today, it looked like this.

A few months ago, I read this post in Apartment Therapy all about an open air work space.  Since it's summer and the rain has stopped (in theory), I decided to give it a try.  I don't have a spare shed to convert into anything like this, but I do have a table and a big doug fir that provides plenty of shade so I can still see my computer screen.  I'm still trying to figure out a few kinks (like power cords), but overall, I'm really happy with my outdoor office.

In other news, I am very excited about my corn.  Stay tuned for a garden update.
